Villa Marina Capri, Capri

I had an amazing stay at the hotel. The rooms were beyond perfect for our honeymoon, offering a stunning view of the sea, a spacious terrace, and even a jacuzzi. However, I wished there was more natural light and space for luggage in the room. The service was exceptional, with the staff being incredibly helpful, especially Chaminda, who provided us with valuable tips and recommendations. The location was beautiful, surrounded by green gardens, although it missed a few service points. The dining experience was outstanding in a beautiful setting with a breathtaking view, but the omelette seemed overpriced for a 5-star hotel.

The hotel offers both great aspects and some drawbacks. The rooms were wonderful with a little front porch surrounded by green gardens, but it was disgustingly hot which affected my sleep each night. The view of the ocean from the rooms was a plus, but they didn't feel great and had a cheapish touch to them.

The service was top-notch, from the accommodating manager to the helpful bartender. The location, while convenient for the port, might pose challenges for exploring the rest of the island. The dining experience, set in a beautiful area with a lovely view, was amazing though a bit pricey. The facilities were excellent, making my stay truly enjoyable.
